What an incredible finish to the season! With 13 teams reaching the Provincial Finals and coming away with 9 championships, the SMHA community has plenty to celebrate. While some series came down to the wire in heartbreaking fashion, the grit shown across the board was world-class.

 Provincial Champions

A massive congratulations to our 9 provincial winners. These teams showcased incredible skill and composure to bring home the hardware. From dominant performances to overtime thrillers, you’ve made Saskatoon proud!

 Heartbreak in Game 3

Hockey is a game of inches, and four of our teams saw their incredible runs end in the most competitive way possible:

U13A, U15A, and U15C: All three teams battled to a 1-1 series split, forcing a deciding "Mini Game 3." While they fell just short in the final sprint, their resilience throughout the playoffs was inspiring.

Bridge City Blues: In a grueling best-of-three series, the Blues took it to the limit, ultimately falling in a tight 3-2 Game 3 battle.

Season Highlights

Beyond the scoreboard, this season was defined by the energy in the rinks.

Community Support: You turned up the volume! From packed stands at local rinks to the sea of SMHA colors, our athletes felt the home-ice advantage every step of the way.

The Grind: Every early morning practice and late-night drill paid off. The jump in intensity during these finals proved that our development programs are putting SMHA athletes in a position to compete with the best in the province.
